The Hospital Scorecard
I didn't just tell the management they were losing money; I showed them the Efficiency Gap. By calculating the ₦500k replacement cost per nurse and the ₦200k daily loss from patient exits, I identified a ₦93M annual leak that was invisible on traditional balance sheets. My solution shifted the focus from 'cutting costs' to 'increasing flow' by introducing a Non-Financial Dashboard to track wait times and staff retention in real-time.
The Capital Allocation Strategy - Lease vs. Buy
When a high-growth startup faced a ₦18M cash drain to expand their fleet, I stepped in to challenge the "ownership" mindset. Using IFRS 16 standards and an NPV model, I proved how a finance lease could save ₦1M in real economic value while keeping the business liquid enough to scale.
